FITA has three main revenue streams:
We rely heavily on support from our corporate members to fund our day-to-day administration.
These funds are from South African flooring manufacturers, stakeholders and contractors and are used to subsidize the cost of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessments for foreign nationals and to train up assessors and moderators.
We apply for grants as Construction, Education and Training Authority (CETA) makes them available. This money is utilized only to pay accredited training providers who do RPL assessments, short skills courses and learnerships on our behalf.
Our audited financial results are available to all companies and individuals registered with us.
